Coaching Services: For Your Life, Business, or Career

Do you ever think about your life and wonder, “Is this really as good as it gets?”

Do you feel like you’re not reaching your full potential? Like there’s “more” you are meant to be doing, experiencing… or contributing to the world?

Do you get excited about big projects & new plans, but then fall back into “bad habits” and wind up sabotaging your efforts, again and again?

As a life, business, and/or career coach, I can help.

With my toolkit of coaching skills — combined with my training in clinical psychology — I have been helping men & women — all over the world — to reach their most important personal & professional goals for over 30 years, combined.

Every year, I have the honor of supporting people to…

– Lose weight & transform their bodies — permanently.
– Revive stale relationships & rekindle their sex drive (yes!)
– Become “super-parents” and amazing role models for their kids.
– Switch careers, get raises and promotions, and launch new businesses.
– And so much more.

The beauty of one-to-one, individualized coaching is that it can get great results.

Through the coaching process, there is always a way to get clear, make a plan, and make significant progress.

Recently, my land-based work has filled my schedule and so, at this time, I am not accepting new clients for virtual sessions. But here’s how things work when virtual sessions are active.

I coach clients all over the world — via phone or video chat (Skype or FaceTime).

If you’re a new client, we begin with a one-hour session priced at $400 USD.

After our first session, if we decide to continue to work together, we’ll create a plan based on your goals — and your timeline. (Clients often wind up scheduling 2 sessions / month for about 6 months, but if you want to make progress, even faster, we may want to create an “accelerated” program where we “meet” weekly for about 4 weeks.)

Got questions? Read the FAQs below. After that?

If I were accepting more clients for virtual coaching sessions (as noted above, I am not currently accepting more virtual coaching clients) you would contact me to inquire about setting up your first coaching session.

Please put “Coaching Consult” at the very top of your message, so that you can be served faster. Don’t include any confidential info.

Expect a reply within one business day, plus scheduling details, a friendly, coaching agreement for review/signature, and a really simple payment link.

One more thing…

You can create the life you want, and it’s never too late to get started. Also? You are worthy of love and respect. From others. And from yourself. Just wanted to remind you. In case you forgot.

1. Aside from life coaching, do you offer any other coaching services?

I also offer business and career coaching. Not to toot my own horn, but here’s one of my favorite endorsements of my work:

If you are looking for someone to talk to, I recommend Dr. Suzanne Gelb. She is a life coach AND a psychologist. Double-whammy of credentials. The cherry on top: she is a loving, kind-hearted entrepreneur, so she can especially relate to the woes and struggles you might be facing as a biz owner.
Melissa Casserra, PR & Personal Brand Expert, Actress, Screenwriter.

I am also a Master Career Coach for The Muse, an award-winning online career resource, with over four million quality professional members. [Note: Due to my schedule demands, I am not currently taking on new clients for The Muse.] To read my articles that The Muse has published on my column, “Be Well At Work,” click here, here, and here.

2. What types of clients do you coach?

Primarily high-functioning men and women with demanding lifestyles — doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, super-busy parents. People who are doing “great” in certain areas of life — but “not great” in others.

A client might be…

– An attorney who loves her work and is a champion in the courtroom… but who is stuck in an unfulfilling marriage.

– A business owner who is at the top of his game when it comes to “work”… but who has a heck of a time getting his kids to cooperate at home.

– A highly skilled medical doctor who loves her work and helps many people… but who eats her way through her evenings because she’s so exhausted and stressed.

My clients aren’t always (and don’t need to be) doctors, lawyers, and business owners.

But my clients are people who hold themselves to high standards — and who want to improve when they fall short. My clients also want results. They’re not the kinds of people who flake out and miss appointments. Once they commit to a program? They are all in.

I owe a great debt to Dr. Suzanne Gelb, a psychologist and life coach who has dramatically changed the way that I think about “enforcing boundaries and policies”.

3. Do you offer any coaching packages?

Sure do!

These coaching packages (spanning 1, 3, or 6 months) are powerful and intensive.

They’re for people who are highly motivated to get things moving.

If you want to take your dream for the next few months & beyond and make it real — and if you want a personal development expert with close to 30 years of experience on your team — this is for you.

It’s never too late to become the person you want to be.

I’d love to support you — confidentially, expertly, and lovingly.

Here’s to a fabulously successful next few months & beyond… starting soon, real soon.

4. What is the difference between coaching and psychotherapy?

That is a FAQ that people often wonder about. The Coaching Services Agreement (Agreement) that I provide to coaching clients contains information about the difference. You can read that portion of the Agreement here.

5. As a life, business, and career coach, what is your top tip for clients who want to become high achievers?

Good question! It reminds me of a highlight of my career — when a reporter from NBC’s TODAY Show requested an interview with me. Ecstatic, I said (or more like, shrieked), “YES!”

The reporter then featured me in her article, “How to Succeed Everywhere: 10 Tips for Balance at Work, Home, in Relationships” — published on NBC’s TODAY. Here is an excerpt from the article. It addresses how to become a high achiever:

“The first step is to believe in yourself and know that you deserve success. Gelb says that although many women have a hard time overcoming social stigmas — such as the outdated belief that women cannot be competent employees and mothers at the same time — once a woman realizes her full potential and rids her mind of toxic thoughts, she can take over the world, Beyoncé style.

In this week’s Summer of Secrets: Successful Women series, Gelb gives her top tips on how women can become and remain high achievers in all aspects of their life.”

– Life, business, and/or career coaching is not suitable for people who are struggling with serious emotional trauma or mental health issues. If that’s your situation, please click here to find qualified providers in your local area who can help. Be well.

– If you’re not sure if I’m the right coach for you, please spend some time exploring my articles, watching my media clip, taking one of my low-cost e-courses, and listening to one of my soothing, complimentary meditation audios.

In addition to working as a life, business, and/or career coach, I am also a clinical psychologist. To learn more about my work as a psychologist in the State of Hawaii, head over here.
